My name is Kitti Balakina. I am a certified Permanent Make Up artist and Esthetician.
I am Hungarian – Russian, born in Moscow, Russia.
I have always felt passionate about beauty, that is why in 2014 I started working as a make up artist.
In the past years, I have become an Esthetician and later on, my profession included permanent make up as well.
I feel extremely lucky that my job is basically my hobby. I cannot imagine a better feeling than seeing my clients satisfied with the results and leaving with a big smile on their faces.
There is no such thing as two identical skin types or personalities, and that is completely fine. After all our differences make us special and unique.
My main aim at my work is to make each treatment personalised and to find the right method for every client to enhance their beauty.
In my opinion, less is more and I use this way to preserve my clients’ natural beauty features by minimising minor flaws, asymmetry and emphasize my clients unique characteristics.

Who should consider getting permanent make up?

Is the procedure painful?
It depends on your own sensitivity. Generally, there might be only some mild unpleasant feeling, however, due to the effective professional numbing creams, you might not feel any pain at all.
How should I prepare for the procedure?
- Avoid sunbathing or going to tanning salons 1 week prior to your appointment
- Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages 24 hours before
- Don’t drink any caffeinated beverages or take any painkillers a few hours before
- Before lip tattoo, try to hydrate your lips as much as possible
- If you are prone to herpes, it is recommended to take Telviran tablets 3 days before the procedure, until the tattooed area heals
What to do or not to do after the procedure?
- Be patient: the tattooed area might hurt a bit or get swollen in the next few days
- Don’t soak your tattoo: avoid sauna, steam baths or pool activities
- Avoid strong sweating in the first week
- Don’t start picking the crust, let it heal by itself
- Avoid tanning, sunbathing
- Avoid any creams that contains retinol or any exfoliating treatments until healing

Does my fresh tattoo show the final color and shape?
Your make up tattoo has to heal and this will take about 4-5 weeks.
Day 1-5: the color of your tattoo will become stronger and darker
Day 5-7: the resulting crust will fall down in pieces which is completely normal and part of a natural healing process. It is important not to start picking it.
Day 7-15: your make up tattoo will fade and become lighter, so be patient and wait for a healed result
Day 15-30: In this period the final color and shape will appear
In what circumstances you cannot get a permanent make up tattoo?
- Open wound on the area to be tattooed
- Fever, contagious illness
- Known allergy
- During pregnancy and breast-feeding
- Hemophilia
- Tendency to keloid
